Oh dear, how long has it been since i last kept in contact with my secondary school classmates, at least 4 years, i guess. I just have had my 21st birthday 2 days ago. Sadly, i am not really planning to hold any celebrations.
A lot sure has happened since this time period. For me, a lot of events, happy and unhappy ones have happened. Essentially, after O’s, i went to ACJC to spent my first three months where i had serious problems adjusting. I then went to JJC where i found i have similiar problems too. I did realise later the underlying problem is with myself. Haha, i didn’t quit school but managed to rectify it later in life. Graduated with ok results (ABBB, B3) where i applied to all three business schools, was accepted by all and chose SMU. I have wanted to do law but realised that it’s just not for me. Of course, as a “healthy” (PES A) Singaporean male, i had to go through 22 months (passed Nafa) of NS, where i was a transport supervisor. My unit and work kind of sucks; imagine managing vehicles which are more than 10 years old and having a really bad boss! Fortunately i orded peacefully.
Of course, the goals i have had when i was 16 are really different from when i am now 21 but i am happy to know what i want in life and is working towards it. Hope the rest of you are doing just as well in life. :)
